HEAD UK-Racketball Series Membership 2017 - Whole Series Entry

Over the past couple of years membership of the UK-Racketball Series has grown dramatically. Becoming a member is simple and could save you a lot of money if you plan to play in a more than three events.

It’s great value for money

Membership for 2017 is £60.00 meaning that if you played in all eight events you would only be paying an average of £7.50 an event. That's a saving of almost £10 per event!

Where can I find out more information

Head to www.uk-racketball.com to see how previous series have run and to find out more information on this years Series.

Or contact tournament organiser Mark Fuller: mark@starsportsdevelopment.com or 07846 067505

Advantages to being a member

Being a member has an added social aspect, with many of the competitors getting to know each other quite well over the course of the year.

Remember that the Series rankings count accumulatively, so if you want to try and win the Series and take the overall crown, membership gives you access to all events (but you still need to sign up to confim your spot).

For added incentive have a look at the UK-Racketball Series winners hoodies from last year below.

Benefits

You can enter all 8 events for FREE

You will receive two Head UK-Racketball t-shirts.

You will receive a 20% off all Head products (for your personal use) for the season. Check out what we have to sell on the shop and then just email Mark Fuller directly for what you want (mark@starsportsdevelopment.com).

Don’t forget to email through your entry

If you are a member of UK-Racketball and would like to play in an event don’t forget to email us early to reserve your space. As we are now restricting entries it is important to do this as soon as you are aware that you will be playing in an event. All entries will be done on a first come, first served basis.

Important Information - UK-Racketball Series 2017

Entries to be restricted to 60 per event

Once again we have decided to restrict the entries this year. I know that this will mean that at some events people will be disappointed about not being able to play but we feel that at some of the venues the events were simply too big to run as well as we would have liked.

We hope that this will help us to release the draws and schedules earlier and make the day run more smoothly.

Entry List, Draws and Schedules Release Dates

Friday – eight days before the event - All events will close on midnight the Friday before the event so almost exactly a week before the event.

Sunday – six days before the event - An entry list will be released on www.uk-racketball.com on the Monday before the event. If you have entered the event then please check on the Monday that your entry has been received and that you are on the list. If you should be on the list but are not then please email Mark Fuller mark@starsportsdevelopment.com as soon as possible.

Tuesday – five days before the event – Draws and Schedules will be released on www.uk-racketball.com

Grades

It is important to remember that UK-Racketball Series events are designed to be inclusive. Although the A grade does attract the best racketball players in the country the events really are for players of all ages and abilities. We have never had a competitor who felt they were not good enough for an event in which they have taken part.

Standard UK-Racketball Series Events

A Grade – County, national or good club player

B Grade – Regular club player

Women’s – All ages and abilities, these events have a great range of players which makes for a fun and competitive day.

Over 40’s – For players over the age of 40

Over 50’s - For players over the age of 50

Over 60’s – For players over the age of 60

Beginner – This is for players who have recently started racketball. Players who have previously played squash to a high level and have now started playing racketball may be better off in the A or B grade. Sponsors

The Series would not run without the support that it receives from its sponsors. Our long standing title sponsor HEAD are returning for another year this year. HEAD are one of the biggest sports brands in the world, produce some of the best racketball rackets, and are a fantastic supporter of racketball - so we are thrilled to have them on board again.

Featuring HEAD's revolutionary Inner Grommet System Technology and patented twin tube construction, their rackets deliver superior performance, power and stability. Many of HEAD’s rackets feature Graphene XT Technology. Once played with a Graphene racquet, you never want to miss the extra swing it gives you with each shot. Now imagine the next stage of this revolutionary technology: GRAPHENE XT, a new generation of HEAD racquets with enhanced weight distribution, perfect maneuverability and a fast performance that will just blow your opponents away.
