Fantasy Squash Academy Head Coach - On the road - Part 2

As a few of you will probably be aware our very own Academy Head Coach, Josh Taylor, has been on the road on a tour to mark the gap between finishing his degree and before starting work full time on the Academy and training. The tour sees him visit three places, San Francisco, the British Virgin Islands, and South Africa, using squash, both playing and coaching, as the vehicle of the trip. Eddie Charlton takes the Open International d'Angers

Eddie Charlton takes the Open International d'Angers Title. MANTIS player Eddie Charlton beats number 2 seed Geoffrey 

Dermont in straight games 11-3 11-5 11-7. Dermont put up a good fight but was unable to overcome the guile and experience of Charlton.

 

Eddie had a comfortable ride through to the final only dropping two games in the whole tournament, against Mark Fuller and Rui Soares.

MANTIS Players face in Quater Finals.

Team mates from Air-IT Nottingham are to face each other in the quater finals. It will be the first time these two have met on the 

tour.

 

Eddie Charlton is number 1 seed with Mark defeating Taminder Gata-Auro, Jamie Henderson and Micah Franklin to reach this stage of the tournament.


It will be team manager vs team captain. Good luck to both players.
